Funeral Ceremonies

When arranging a funeral, you will normally make all the arrangements through the Funeral Director. The Funeral Director is usually the person who will recommend us as your Celebrant and who will arrange the business side of our booking and fee.

If you approach us directly to deliver your funeral service, we will provide you with a separate set of Terms and Conditions (though they will look pretty much like the ones below!).

Scattering of Ashes Ceremonies and Memorial Services

If you choose one of us to lead a ceremony for your loved one when you come to scatter their remains, or if you would like to hold a memorial service, you will need to book with us direct.

In this case the following terms and conditions will apply:

  1. When you book, we will send you an invoice for the fee payable and this will be due 7 days prior to the ceremony or on booking- whichever is the later. We will confirm your booking within 24 hours of receipt of payment.

  2. The price invoiced is based on the information you give us at the time of invoicing and any changes to your requirements which are made later may incur additional costs. We will always discuss these with you in advance and agree any further costs which will need to be paid.

  3. If the fee is not received in advance of the ceremony date and we have not had any communication from you with regards to a revised payment date, our contract will be deemed cancelled and cancellation fees as set out in the invoice will be applied.

  4. You agree to notify Just Perfect Ceremonies in writing/via email of any change to the time, date or place of the ceremony.

  5. Just Perfect Ceremonies liability to you is limited to the fee paid.

  6. All work is original and will remain copyright to Just Perfect Ceremonies. You have permission to use, share and record your ceremony for personal use. The contents of your ceremony should not be copied or shared beyond your personal use without express permission from Just Perfect Ceremonies.

Script writing for delivery by someone other than Just Perfect Ceremonies

If you would like us to work with you to create and write a script to be delivered by someone else, the following terms and conditions will apply:

  1. When you book this service, we will send you an invoice for the fee payable and this will be due 14 days prior to the date the script or part script is required or on booking- which ever is the later. We will confirm your booking within 24 hours of receipt of payment.

  2. The price invoiced is based on the information you give us at the time of invoicing and any changes to your requirements which are made later may incur additional costs. We will always discuss these with you in advance and agree any further costs which will need to be paid.

  3. If the fee is not received in advance of the date the script or part script is required and we have not had any communication from you with regards to a revised payment date, our contract will be deemed cancelled and cancellation fees as set out in the invoice will be applied.

  4. Just Perfect Ceremonies liability to you is limited to the fee paid.

  5. All work is original and will remain copyright to Just Perfect Ceremonies. You have permission to use, share and record your script for personal use. The contents of your ceremony should not be copied or shared beyond your personal use without express permission from Just Perfect Ceremonies.
